Ncl Stateroom Attendant gratuity

Good day!
Just to highlight somethings NCLH is doing to Stateroom Attendant! Norwegian Cruise Line doesn't pay Stateroom Attendant any of the gratuity the guests pays, NCLH pay Room Steward a flat salary of $1600 per month without gratuity, they say tell the guest that the gratuity goes in a pool and pay some Crew which is a lie, because Room Steward doesn't get that gratuity.

Room Steward have 20,22,22,23,24 or 25 Room that's what we have to deal with thanks to the help of this a Fleet executive that pushed for more rooms for the Steward and less money, Room Steward salary was $2200 with 16 Rooms now its 23 or more rooms with $1600 with no gratuity, room Steward can't even go ashore if we don't have over time Room Steward is being exploited at NCLH there's more things to highlight and I can emphasize more on those that I write for now please post this to show somethings that's going on, I email Cruise Law New maybe there working with NCLH they don't want to post what I sent them.

Thank you for reporting this. We would suggest reporting this to mail@nsu.org as there is a union for NCLH that can get involved. You define need to do something. $1600 is much less than the rest of the industry.

But, for the moment is there any NCL crew member whether from Housekeeping or another department able to copy their pay slip blacking out name, crew number etc to hide identity that will show exactly how the total monthly payment is made up. I know that NCL crew members are being ripped off and the company are pocketing most of the gratuities for themselves but evidence is needed before it can go further.

Hello, crew have submitted pay stubs although they are a couple of months old and we are hoping for a contract too so we have asked for this. Yes, evidence is needed before a lawyer or journalist could take this on. Anyone who works for NCL and wants help with this issue can message us privately. and share their pay stub and contract and blackout the name and ID, and anything else that is personal, and send it to us.

We have asked for proof by submitting your contract and the summary of your pay and just black out your names and personal info. We need this to help advocate for this topicl
