My story is based on the medical negligence on board the Caribbean Princess. A few days ago I had an accident in which my ankle was injured, my leg began to swell and I began to experience severe pain in my left buttock.
In the medical Center on board the doctors told me that I did not need X-rays and that "I CAN WORK WITH PAIN"
and I did what they told me to work with pain but every day it hurt too much until I said I can't take it anymore the pain even made me faint of which I don't remember anything my legs were swelling and well I took a picture because the doctors on board insisted that ITS nothing. They sent me to an ashore doctor and I explained to him what I was feeling and he told me that the best thing was to go home to be checked properly.
When I returned on board and told that to the doctor in charge, he told me that going home was not going to take away my pain. Up to now I’m still here suffering of severe pain in my Buttock and feeling how it numbs they even give me medication that are use on people with epilepsy.
