Company: Disney Cruise Line
Position: HR Manager
Contract: 4 month on 2 months off
Interview process: took 1-2 months
Type of interview: Initial screening with senior recruiter, Interview with Senior HR Manager, Final interview with HR director.
All virtual (I am UK based, recruiting team in US, so don’t know if this is different if you are based elsewhere).
What kind of questions did they ask that stood out? Try to write one or two here.
All interviews had a really relaxed feel, just general role based questions.
I’d never worked onboard before so was nervous about being specific but if you just apply your knowledge to a ship based scenario you’ll be fine!
Next steps: If you are successful they let you know pretty quickly. How quickly you are onboarded depends on lots of variables. Your location, what ship has a vacant position, where you are in your pre-employment screening etc..
Hopefully this gives a comprehensive picture.
Happy to answer questions!
