I work for carnival UK, switch between Cunard and P&O.
I discovered I was on the “worst ship” in the fleet (Arcadia) but I found really kind people. Management for the hotel department seemed to be a bit biased from what I heard and saw. (eg one nationality dominating restaurant management because their friends give them promotion).
I do wish there was more support for woman on this particular ship as there seemed to be a problem with men (management) expecting ‘favours’.
Overall good standards to the company and good crew life whilst I was onboard (plenty of cultural activities and parties) and got good shore time. Free wifi in port and pretty cheap wifi on board. New years was well celebrated and I enjoyed my contract overall but I do look forward to better food on my next ship
